On the northern hemisphere, this time of year is often associated with harvests, Halloween and the upcoming Thanksgiving holiday, chilly evenings that call for a fire to be lit and a hot chocolate. Summer is gone and the cold of winter is only just around the corner. We think of pumpkins and spectacular scenes of leaves changing color.
On the other side of the world, in the southern hemisphere, the winter has come to an end and given way to spring. It’s a time to start planting, trees are budding, chicks are hatching, the sun comes out. We’re thinking of beaches and ice cream, picnics and barbeques.

Voting will take place during the last days of October, publication of the winning layouts will be in the first week of November. Winning layouts will be featured in our monthly “What’s New At the ‘Roo” newsletter, on our Facebook page, our blog, our homepage and in our forum.
